FILMSCORING
Johannes Riedl is a German composer for film and production music as well as a mixing engineer.
Within the past 10 years, he has been involved in 25+ projects for visual media. These include award-winning short films such as Sideline Story (Drama) and WingMan (Thriller), as well as other productions like Seven to Light (Drama), Waga (Drama), and The Only Way (Thriller).
Earlier in his career, his music was featured in Ogun Ola: War is Coming (Action), produced by Revelations Entertainment under the creative direction of Morgan Freeman, as well as in Into the Woods (Fantasy) for the Musum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) in New York.
In addition, he composed the trailer music for the U.S. web series Searchers, which received a Telly Award. Other projects include The Click, Wrong Answers Only, The Visit, and the image film Heroes as well as the 2025 ad for PGX—a mini computer by Lenovo

His work has so far been honored with 11 international nominations and awards - including recognition for Best Film Score and Best Composer.
He is currently working on two feature films in addition to several short film projects.
PRODUCTION MUSIC
In addition to his work as a film composer, Johannes Riedl is also actively working in the field of production music. For the German premium music library RipCue Music, he composed and produced albums including Big Attitude Rock, Most Wanted, Current Middle East Affairs, and Rage Mode.
While Current Middle East Affairs takes a more traditional approach through the use of real strings and woodwinds, Rage Mode represents the complete opposite:
an uncompromising metal album, specifically designed for action-packed moments in film and television.
Since then, his music has been featured in numerous national and international TV productions, including SAT.1, DMAX, FoxSports 2, VOX, and ZDF. Notable placements include the Paralympics as well as popular shows such as Steel Buddies and Auf Streife.

With JRM-Studios, Johannes Riedl founded a studio in 2022 that is dedicated to creating film scores for independent film productions.

The idea: combining authentic, realistic-sounding film music with fair budgets.

Instead of relying solely on digital production, JRM-Studios blends modern production techniques with the performance of real musicians.
​
Strings, woodwinds, brass, and other instrumentalists bring a vivid depth to the scores - a quality that is often missing in the independent film world.

BRIGHTVOX STUDIOS
As the founder of BrightVox Studios, Johannes launched a post-production studio in mid-2024 that specializes in editing, restoration, and enhancement of voice recordings.
​
What sets BrightVox apart is its focus on clarity and consistency - making sure every voice sounds natural, professional, and ready for publishing.
​
Within just 12 months, the studio has worked with over 250 clients across 20+ countries, delivering improved audio for interviews, films, content creators, and brand projects.
​
Clients include both smaller production companies as well as major corporations such as HSBC and Lynk Global.
